When the blog is ready to be written, the news article appears...

In light of the recent goings on within JU, it seems rather appropriate I would stumble across this article from CNN.com/Living titled, Your blog can be group therapy.

The first blogger in the story stated she would commit suicide after 90 days of writing about her life. What would you do if one morning while sipping your coffee and reading what's new on JU you were to come across such an article?

The stories on JU ...

Some days I miss home - real home, not Tarragona-home - more than others.

Today is one of those days.

Maybe it's because I don't have anything to occupy my time - I should've bought my return ticket for Sunday night rather than tonight because 1)nothing is open on Mondays, and 2)I'm broke anyway, so I wouldn't have been able to find anything free to do besides exactly what I'm doing - still chilling in the park.

Maybe it's because all this 'alone ti...

The plan was for me to get loaded up and headed for home today. So far that hasn't happened. Yesterday I picked up a generator going to Florida and we had planned for me to fill out the load with a military truck this morning.

The factory is running a bit behind and the truck isn't ready yet. I am sitting around waiting for dipatch to figure something out to get me loaded and going home.

I am starting to be concerned that I won't make it home in time for Mom's surgery. It's not like she'll...

Yes, folks, it's true.  Or it isn't.  (And if it isn't true, then I've been libeled by the same person who is arguing about libel with Ock and Mari. http://forums.joeuser.com/310858.)

Lately we've had a couple of new bloggers making their presence known in JU, one seems truly new (erathoniel) and one's been around a while on the gaming forums, but must have been attracted here by the new and improved cross-posting system recently implemented by the JU Gods.  (All the Gods ...

Over the weekend I had a lot of extra time on my hands. I had to make sure I cleared IL before noon on Saturday as they don't allow oversized loads to move between noon on Saturday and sunrise Monday. Beats me why. Once I cleared IL I had a lot of time to get to my delivery just North of Geen Bay Monday morning.

I stopped and killed Saturday afternoon and night at a Petro truck stop South of Milwaukee. I accidentally wandered over to the bar and grill across the street. They have cold beer an...

As this seems to be some major issue these days I just wanna say that I'm not leaving JU.

I delivered the wheel loader this morning, picked up some other crap, ate some food, and checked into the hotel as my load home is still developing.

Mom called me yesterday to see if I'll make it home before her surgery. That's the plan and I hope it'll work out but I couldn't tell her for sure I would be there. She sounded worse.

I met an interesting woman at Applebee's tonight. I was impressed ...
I went to Epcot today.  This is the first time since I've moved to Florida that I've taken the time to check out Disney.  We've had quite a bit of company these last few weeks so I've been entertaining much of this time mostly just around here but today we ventured south for the day and we had a great time.

The weather was great.  The crowds were almost non-existent which made for easy accessability to all the events. I've never seen Disney so NOT busy.  I mean ...

Swearing is not a sin. It is, however, an annoyance to some of us who learn more than five adjectives, nouns, verbs, and adverbs. If you don't know a word to use, use a dictionary.

Swearing also devalues your opinion. When I find that someone swears, I view it as a negative mark on their maturity, as they have no real self-control. It's one thing in conversation, but it's entirely different when you can write stuff down. You cannot convince me that you ca...

Ok. Gonna try to keep it clean.

There is nothing in having many articles written that hurts you. If the articles have a point, regardless of how strong, state a fact or opinion, tell a story, do not plagarize, are not spam, and are not mandatory reading, you do not suffer at all from some people posting ten thousand articles a day. So what if it gets pushed out of the recent articles list? Some of us actually put links up at different places to advertise....

The congressional elections of 2008 in the United States of America have not even been held yet and the conservatives are already giving up the ghost of Republican candidates.  I keep hearing how many expect the "demos" to gain seats in the House and the Senate.  Some even think the "demos" will have a controlling majority of congress.

Well this can happen if no one does anything.  I learned to day that 435 House districts and 33 Senate districts will be h...

You know who you are, who I address this to. You say "Libel!". I say fact. I make a statement, you threaten to sue. You just don't get it, do you? When I said you hated me, I may have been wrong, but you've done nothing to prove otherwise. You only know how to attack in my eyes. If someone spreads a lie about you, they may believe it true. But you insisted on making it fact, didn't you? You scrabble and scratch, light a match. You expect to win, but all you do is whine. You'd be a good politici...
Or are you just twits?

But seriously.  So after hearing all about Twitter for all these months, I finally signed up.  And you know what?  It'll be cooler once I'm back in the states and have a phone plan I can afford, because I'll be posting from my mobile phone.

Yeah, Twitter is tacky, but it's also rather fun.  I mean, stupid and tacky fun, but fun nonetheless.  Yet while most of the twits I follow are known in the Stardock family of sites, they're alm...

Hey guys, figures I should write an article or something so you know I haven't yet fallen off the face of the earth. (Luckily that gravity theory seems to be holding out. )

It's finals week for me and I've spent about 5 or 6 hours today grinding through the ACS guidebook for my organic chemistry exam on Tuesday.  Still got a few more chapters to go...but I can knock it out in a couple more hours tomorrrow...and then I'll go through it again to make sure I understand exactly what the...
