I'm using the latest Dreamscapes build 1.95.[b].028, Vista Enterprise SP1, 2GB RAM, 2.16 Core 2 Duo, ATI1400 card (3.6 score).

When I use the latest dreams, Copper Pool, Exotic Plasma and Grassy Field, my Explorer.exe memory use goes up from a normal 50Mb to over 100MB and the explorer.exe CPU usages gets higher too (higher than the dwm.exe CPU usage).

Desktop Earth and Water Dream are better, only increasing the explorer.exe to between 64Mb and 75MB.

This happens both with WindowBlinds...

 

Error i get when i try to install/update anything, how can i fix this problem

I dont know what to do? Theme manager isnt including cursor fx only cursor xp? I dont have cursor xp installed. When I installed cursor fx it didnt uninstall cursor xp. And when i downloaded new cursors and opened them it opened the cursor fx editor? So  i would try to save as and install and it still dint work? I dont know so I uninstalled cursor xp and uninstalled fx and reinstalled cursor fx. Fixed it and i am telling you this becuase i am thinking it may be the reason in some way.... ju...

Vista Business x64

I'm getting ready to try out:

Vista Ultimate x64 wSP1

I have 4GB RAM, hence the need to use x64.

At work I run Vista Business x64 (also a 4GB RAM Machine) and absolutely cannot get DesktopX to even say hello.

So, as of right now..

What Stardock apps DO NOT work with Vista Ultimate x64?

If they don't work, when will they?

Where do I download enchanced file dialog( I already got ObjectDesktop)

It's not in SDC. And does it work in Vista?

I not know if this is a bug or an over site by Stardock.

Last year I got Object Desktop which gave me 365 Days (1 year) subscription Febuary 9th 2007 to Febuary 9th 2008

this year I renew'ed on Febuary 9Th 2008 to Febuary 8th? 2009 for another year (this is a Leap Year) so to me I should be getting 366 days.

My subscription should END on Febuary 9th but it dose not it is endding on feburay 8th 2008

so whyt does stardock not reckonize that this year has 366 days in it?

Also, I know DX3.5 encountered some difficult issues requiring quite a bit of recoding, but is there some indication to when we can expect DX?

i would like to know how to change this, i sync my documents folder to about 3 pc's at the office, and 2 pc's at home.  now at work, it's not such an issue, but when it's syncing to home u can imagine it's a pain, since the dream files are pretty large.  i know other things are stored in documents as well, and some other apps now store in all users, which is even more frustrating when dealing with folder redirection.  any thoughts on this?

I've been running CursorFX Plus, Object Desktop and Object Dock Plus for a couple of months now on my 2.0gig dual core Asus laptop 4gigs of memory installed with vista x32 home edition.  There are some programs that I can never get to work.  They won't even open.  I've tried the uninstall and reinstall thing and it hasn't worked.  I think these programs maybe XP only.  Are all the object desktop programs supposed to work with vista?  The only one that I really would...

I purchased Object Desktop and Cursor XP in early 2007. I know that I will have to renew for another year soon. What is the difference between renewing Object Desktop and purchasing a subscription to Wincustomize (which I'm thinking of purchasing now)?

I know everyone is pretty busy with trying to get the forums straightened out today but I figured I would post this anyways to see if I am the only one having this issue.

Problem..."explorer.exe" decides to crash on system boot after installing Virtual Desktops (stable). CMD line will work to get it going, but only if it is used after the system has loaded.
