Hello to everyone!

I' have a couple of question:

first: by launching some meter widget or meter object, i am warned that it can't work while user Account Control is enabled. This is only for Vista, am I right? ( I have Xp )

Second: after installing the latest beta/pre releases of Object desktop programs, many widgets and DX gadgets do not work anymore and i get error messages from the executable. Do someone know anything about?

I have noticed that of late I have been getting more emails asking about drag when using Object Dock on new laptops. Truth be told I am finding that 90% of the time it is due to bad drivers. In several cases I have been directing people here:

The Wincustomize browser was unable to connect for a little over 12+ hours inthe last few days due to a server migration. If you had troubles with this thesituation is corrected now. I dont know how to use any of the software that comes with object desktop. But i think i can figure it out somehow. However I dont know how to find out how to use virtual desktops. I though that virtual desktops was able to have different windows blinds skins for each and custom icons for each desktop. The onlything i can change is the wallpapers for each desktop? What is going on here?

OD in Stardock Central shows premium skin not installed and it won't finish the install process (hanging up at install action). However the Turbo skin as noted in the readme text is installed.

The premium suite folder under C:\program files\stardock\object desktop\premium suites has only a readme text that says the suite "Quest" is supplied, however there is nothing else in the folder, yet it shows as installed in SD Central.

WB6 won't update. It sticks at install actions. It can't be c...

Newbie here. I love running WB and upon checking out desktops for DX I find few that are listed for 1680x1050 resolution. This is the only resolution (native) that really works well on this 22" monitor. I was checking out parts of DX that are resolutin independant, so I guess those will work. Can I use things from DX such as sidebars at the same time as using WB? Thanks!

You might have had an issue registering a updated (and only the updated, meaning you bought the $10 upgrade serial number instead of a new one) serial number for CursorFX. If so that issue has been corrected now please try again.

I recently purchased Window Blinds, but am now considering an upgrade to Object Desktop. Do I need to uninstall Window Blinds before installing Object Desktop and if so, can I save the themes, etc. that I already have? Thanks for help, I'm a real newbie.

Hello fellas, and merry xmas. I was just looking for help on OD. I purchased it, downloaded and installed it..... however, after registering it in the Tools menu, i still keep getting an error message when trying to download the products that come with it ( e.g.; Desktopx, WB6, etc.... ) Any help would be wonderful. ...

How can you say that you only need 256 mb of ram for object desktop if logon studio needs 512mb thats false info and it could mess up someones computer. Thats wrong!

Just wanted everyone to know that technically all of the support staff will be off for Christmas till after the 1st. For some reason, every single input in widgets and objects come up as white rectangles. I have reinstalled DesktopX, regsvr32 SDCtrls.dll, and updated drivers. I have no clue what could be wrong!

My question is:

What are the different awards you can get/win???

So far I just got the 1000+ download award, but I want to know what I have to do to get other awards.

Like, is there a MOSTLY DOWNLOADED IN A DAY, WEEK OR MONTH AWARD???

CursorFX is now available as a beta through Stardock Central. It went public last night.

We are tracking a bug in the upgrade page. When you go to the update page there are several users that have found that the site cannot detect CursorXP on their account. We are fully aware of the issue and are working to correct it. Sorry for the trouble.

As a side note users of CursorXP whom used the switch for turning the cursor on and off it has been changed from crtl+shift+c to ctrl+shift+v.

I have the trial of DesktopX, and have loaded the Realistic Animated Christmas Snowflakes object. The dropdown boxes are not appearing, just white rectangles. I have Vista Ultimate, if that makes a difference.
