Argh!  Stupid Sony.

First, they had to outsmart their competitors by making their Blu-ray remote controls Bluetooth devices.  Bluetooth wouldn't be a problem except for th...

Sony has said that it will be adding more than just rumble to the new controllers. But what would those other improvements be? What do you want to see?

Periodically, I will review games that I've played and beaten. If you'd like me to review a game, e-mail me.

Musashi: Samurai Legend - PS2

This game took me ~30 hours to complete on normal mode. Its the second game in the series, the first being on the PSX(ps1). This game is very underrated. I looked for at least 5 hours for information on this game, prior to buying it, and only found a few pages of information. I personally loved this game. The game itself is done in a type of shell shad...

If history teaches us anything it's that the first round of hardware from just about every console launch is destined for difficulties.

In the case of the original Playstation there were heat related issues, disc copy protection issues that caused failure reading discs (a lot more than Sony ever cared to admit to) and other problems that made the Playstation work less perfectly than it was supposed to.  I remember a lot of those problems as I had one of those "release day" boxes.  W...

Back during the heyday of Xbox 360 eBay sales I wrote an article cautioning that the "flippers" of those systems -- people that sold them on eBay at huge profits -- might want to be careful and save up money to pay the tax man when he/she comes calling on them.

Well, I'm gonna speak up early here and encourage the IRS folks to be ready to start combing the auctions of Playstation 3 systems as those systems are "flipped" for huge profits on eBay.  Not that the flippers aren't entitled to ...

So, Final Fantasy XIII has been on the lips of everyone around the old geek watering hole. From the semi-suprised showing at E3 to the videogame mags continuing coverage, it is fast becoming a ultra best seller...while still being over a year away.

With Final Fantasy XII, S-E long awaited continuation of the series finally hitting the shelves in October, it seems to me that the idea of XIII might not be a great idea off the bat. Actually, it seems like they are getting ready to make up for a ...

Yes I know it is an older game and there are a ton of reviews out there, but I did not write them!

Overall, I would say yes it was all it was hyped up to be. The only minus I had about it was that it bordered on becoming a teadmill. How, in that it became the same thing over and over again when it came to defeating each colossus.

The only other issue I had was the very last Colossus - all the other ones had very similiar strategies to beat, but the last one required you do something, whi...

I've been playing Dark Cloud 2 pretty recently for the past couple weeks. As soon as I opened the box I couldn't stop playing it. Is it the engaging story I crave, like most games? Heck no. The dialogue in this game is so cheesy that I can eat plain macaroni while playing it. The story sequences are voiced, which is great, but all anyone ever says is "Yeah! and Right!" They also explain everything twice, which is really condescending I think. The main character is kinda dumb. He doesn't...

So I got a chance to play Guitar Hero at Best Buy yesterday. It reminded me of why I don't play the guitar for real. My hands just don't move fast enough. I'm sure with practice I could get faster, but I don't even have a guitar to practice with.

I can get through most of the easiest song on the easy-medium level. It's very difficult for me to focus on two things at once, let alone strumming, hitting buttons, and watching the screen so I know what buttons come next. I felt like I was ver...

I could have a nice, long introduction for this game, but I really don't have anything prepared. I did see a bat in the gym today, though. That was kind of neat. I had all sorts of Batman quotes that I wanted to share with the little guy, but he seemed scared -- it's okay, I get that a lot.
