I had reinstall my windows vista OS and that means i had to reinstall object desktop.I have been working on making a skin. First skin studio 6 wasnt working right.    Okay so I had to reinstall my os. Many many trojans took my pc over and where changing my files into trojan downloaders. I could only find 8 trojans. there where more that couldnt be found and where creating huge problems and controlling my pc... ect.

 

I backed up my skin that was so close to being done by the way on a dvd. By way of format(through vista) and drag and drop. I backed up many other files as well. Two dvds worth. I checked them both before i deleted my para...

So I downloaded Vista Sp1 and decided to pay attention to the download speed.... without mocking up in PS and downloading from home.. can anyone beat this from MS?

I finally got my own experience with Windows Vista Ultimate over the last few weeks, having been somewhat forced to downgrade from Vista Home Premium 64 bit back to a 32 bit based version of Vista to get some software that just wasn't cooperative to behave itself (DVD playback software if you must know, which I'm still less than impressed with since the makers of same have had time to get their act together and make their products compatible with 64 bit Vista).

When making the switch I had a 32 bit copy of Vista Ultimate available or I could go through loading up Vista Home Premium but in 32 bit instead of 64 bit.  I figured what the heck, use the copy of Vista Ultimate and save the copy of Vista Home Premium 64 bit for loading on different hardware later (it wasn't an OEM version so I could transfer it around later if I wanted).

Ok, so i have the updated 2.0, well, problem i have ultimate and now i can not use my old dreams and it is very annoying, is it possible to downgrade it back to my pre-2.0 version?

Ok, so i just updated Deskscapes and i restarted and all, but i went to change my dream and it wont run ANY of my current dreams and only the MPEG's...

First time post. I used Natural Desktop on my Vista Premium OS but had to restore the HD. After downloading everything from my SDC Object Desktop account, I re-downloaded and installed Natural Desktop (seperate purchase). Now when I put in the zip for my town it goes to a window with a row of little lines (about 5 dots each) and won't update to my location. Fairly useless and annoying. I need help fixing it. I tried re-downloading, uninstalling and reinstalling. Any ideas?

Ok, so I took a video of a plasma ball I have, and the quality comes out "ok", but for some reason it keeps coming out widescreen and I was wonding if I can send someone the original file if they would be able to do anything with it, if you think you can leave me a reply, and then I can e-mail it to you.

Open up Visual Studio 2003. Have Aero running. Now try to do a search on all files.  Microsoft Visual Studio hangs. Every time.

Solution: Either go to "Classic" or use WindowBlinds with the Aero skin.

Anyone here have any info about when a Vista Copy of Wfx is gonna come out? Im intereted in the window drag from XP, but it tells me that it is "unsupported operation".

How hard can it be to do file copying? Vista SP1 still hasn't managed to nail it.

Besides the fact that copying over a network isn't reliable if I use the machine name (it'll just randomly cut out, I have to use the IP address), there's a more fundamental one: They can't estimate time.

So I'm looking at the above dialog. I can tell by the items remaining (and the GB remaining) that it's copying at around 8 megabytes per second. But the speed says 188k/sec.  So it uses that 188k per se...

Why do I still need permission to create new folders in certain places?
