  The cities of tomorrow

by the Master —, through Benjamin Creme

If and when a man of Mars lands his spacecraft on Earth and looks around him, he must surely be amazed by his surroundings. Unless his mission has taken him to the countryside, he will wonder how the people of Earth can tolerate the abject monotony and raw ugliness of so many towns and cities of the world. The teeming squalor of the poorest is matched only by the brash, arid rawness of the richest. Wherever on...

Hypocrisy is turning a blind eye to wrongs that should be punished when you punish them elsewhere. Hypocrisy is looking first for other's flaws. Hypocrisy is not judging.

Hypocrisy is a common affliction. It's so nice if we're the perfect ones. Isn't it? But also, consider this. If you, say, write an article on how others write too many articles, then you are flooding out good articles with your crazy nonsense ones. Even if you feel that the flooding arti...

So, I was thinking about the big picture.  We know that humanity will continue.  In addition, we know that life is now taken over by the "modern industrial complex".  We also know that this business plan is causing a lot of angst and economic hardship on people.  Moreover, the US of A has for a long time set the path and tempo in the world.

Therefore, what is next for the US and the world?  Will liberalism and socialism take over America?  Will America continue t...

We all have to leave the tribe in order to discard obsolete ways of being, thinking, feeling--even loving. Does that mean we have to turn our back on all the key influences of our formation? Identified as distinct individuals, we may not realize the depth of the tribe's imprint on our psyche. It subliminally directs and shapes our lives. To leave the tribe, we must release attachment to the security of homogenized consciousness and forfeit the comfort zone of approval from others--daring ...

Today's point of meditation is "can we avoid building a terrible life"?  I guess a first place to start is define "terrible life".  I would say a life where a person is suffering to the extent were he or she cannot be at peace no matter what he or she does in life in a "terrible life".

I have already written about being more realistic about our lives.  In past articles I have stated that a certain degree of satisfaction and fulfillment comes from being grateful for what we have...

The title basically sums it up.

I have a good life, I know that. I am blessed with a good family, good health, a roof over my head, I'm in grad school for the path I've always wanted to pursue, I've got ambition, and most importantly a strong curiosity for life. I'm a laid-back, chill, ambitious, fun, attractive person, but I'm not like most people. I get along with people fine but sometimes have a hard time really connecting because I tend to think on a different level. I tend to think a lot...

Our world is riddled with terrorists. These masters of fear are a small percentage of the population who intimidate the masses. They tyrannize through unpredictable, indecipherable patterns of attack on innocent people. They keep us on the edge of our seat, looking over our shoulder, fearful of populated areas, distrustful of anyone else who crosses our path. They willingly sacrifice their existence for a cause/ideology that is larger than life. Blind absolutism supposedly justifies their ...

When we build a new belief in ourselves, others, the Masters and the Divine Plan it is precious... and fragile. It's not easy to fully commit to joy-filled visions about potential and the Universe's supportive participation in our evolution. We need to nurture our beliefs and protect them from the poison of doubt, especially during these times of great testing. If we falter from our convictions at the onset of the journey into greatness, we're robbed of the amazing wealth inherent in our ...

 The people awaken

by the Master —, through Benjamin Creme

It may seem impossible to believe, or so much wishful thinking, but from the higher viewpoint of your Elder Brothers, significant changes for the better are taking place throughout the world. We see a growing movement towards unity and justice, and a growing realization of the absolute necessity for peace to reign if humanity is to continue on its path of evolution. This represents a huge step back from the brink of self...

“Tenille, you are so smart! You can be anything you want to be when you grow up!”  These were the words of affirmation spoken over me as a child. My grandmother would lift me off the ground, and gently sit me on the edge of bathroom vanity. I would twist and squirm until my feet safely rested inside sink and my body faced the streaked mirror. Nora would proceed to pull my hair back into taut pig tails, and I would wince with pain as she tightened the rubber bands, crying “...

For the most part I believe we have entered a time in the human experience were we all think that there are no people of integrity.  I,myself, can testify that I have very little confidence in people no matter were they are earning their keep.

In El Paso, Texas I have seen enough of the behavior of municipal police officers to not have any more respect for them.  Here, the local cops like to stop people for no reason other then they look suspicious.  Tanned, skinny, hispanic ma...
Kenn Gregg's life could certainly have been worse.  He might have been born into a death camp in the Sudan.  He might have died a miserable, lingering death from AIDS in some state hospice with no friends.

Instead, when he did die this past Saturday, he died knowing, I'm sure, that there were many who would feel the loss deeply - among them myself.  I trust that his last days were not spent in lonely misery.  I last spoke with Kenn perhaps two years ago, and then I left me...

I have often pondered on this subject and just wanted to get some other input if anyone is willing to regurgitate their feelings on this subject.  What exactly in this day and age is a minority, and how does one go about deciding who or what is in or out of the so called minority status?

It seems to me that the only people or groups or organizations that still cling to this rather archaic status symbol to represent their cause in being treated unfairly or differently than any other group...
