Bad news Michael Whittaker died, I then rose from the grave to become this Willy Wilber avatar.0 Which eventually took over the United States navy, and became an admiral. After becoming an admiral in a war with china he took over the secret government of the United States. To avoid confusion I changed my name on the post. I thought I should tell you who this new guy is like you would even care right. If you don't care that I changed my game name please post. If you think this post is stupid ...

Technically, I am not new here on JoeUser.

As you can see, my first post was in 2011, and then I forgot about this place until just recently.

But as far as trying to figure out everything, I have no clue. So if you would be so kind and give me a bit of help, that would be great.

For starters,

Do we get notifications when someone posts a comment on our blog posts? How do you quote what someone said in your comments?

Sorry, but I am pretty new to figuring it all out.

I've got a couple DesktopX fishes and a couple butterflies that  occupy my dual monitor desktop. They are set to stay on top of things so I can enjoy them when I have a couple full window apps running or a bunch of small windows. They move around and most of the time I have a tough time even locating them - until I open a window I need to be interactive with. They never bother internet browser, never bother graphic viewer, I forget they are even around when file hoping through windows e...

I have left Dublin and moved to Switzerland.

I bank here offered me truly vast amounts of money to dance the Windows platform expert for a year on their stage. It more than triples my income. If this project works out I can do what I want for a couple of years and won't have to worry about working.

I moved here three days ago, signed the contract, rented a flat and got organised. My computer*, Cyrus**, will arrive next week. The rest of my stuff from Dublin will travel to Berlin to sto...

When I was more active in the JoeUser, Stardock and Wincustomize Communities, posting on my birthday was an annual (Duh!) ritual. It has been a while, so pardon me if I am rusty.

I woke this morning in the manner that passes for normal in my house. I checked the news as I always do. I began with the obituary section. My name wasn't there so I knew that I had to get up. I did receive a wonderful, wonderful present from President Obama and it would be remiss of me if I did not thank him. I ...

Too many people try to be something they're not. They try to be what someone else has told them they have to be.

Instead of admitting that he wasn't ready to settle down and shouldn't have gotten married in the first place, Tiger Woods wussed out and let lying shrinks like Dr. Drew Pinsky convince him that he needed therapy for sex addiction. Blame it on something besides a normal human desire. Make him seem abnormal.

Shrinks have to keep on making up b.s. so they can have more patients an...

This offer was made to me by a pimp (who identified himself as Sahu) as I was walking through the infamous GB Road of Delhi. GB Road, situated near the New Delhi Railway station, is the red light area of Delhi.

Sahu must not have been more than 17-18 years old. I was surprised to see him. He was just a young boy and I could not help feeling pity for him. He pretended to be a little older. While speaking he kept using all kinds of adjectives that the Hindi language has to offer. His ...

I read this in yesterdays newspaper feuilleton and it made me laugh. It is quite the little annecdote.

A little provincial theatre in northern france wanted to stir some excitement for their new theatreproduction and sent several small black cardboard coffins with a bullet in it to journalists in the region. In the box was also a note  that said "You'll have a date with Ben and Gus soon". Ben and Gus are professional hitmen - out of a play by Harold Pinter called "the dumb waiter". The j...

Yes, ladies and gentlemen it is official. I only have about 40 days and 40 nights left here in Sri Lanka before I return home to NM. I am very excited about the whole thing especially since I will be home in time for the holidays. I will return on the 27th of December so I will be having a late Christmas and celebrating New Year’s with my family.

I am very happy that the workshops we have been delivering are 1 away from being complete. It is a very fulfilling and amazing feeling to b...

Wow, what a week. Looking back on things it just seems kind of crazy thinking about all the things I did and just how fast time went by. The first thing we had go on was the workshop I mentioned in a previous post. This went really good. I was very pleased with the group and things went extremely well for my first go at MC. I did several presentations on instructional applications of the web and other technologically based tools to the secondary classroom. It seemed like people really liked the ...
