I found something odd
I'm a bit lost there and ask for help...
Sounds like if it's a skinning thing that some of my settings are wrong but the hell i know which one 
cause it appear only on Vista (look at XP screenshot - the last one)

The Quicklaunch icons went under Startbutton

If it's a WB thing well i'd like to know it too
Any thoughts/ideas?

I downloaded and installed/applied JJ latest WB submission (V!VA), and noticed that the 'extra' menu in the startpanel was acting a bit odd.
Instead of some long boring explanation, here's a couple of screenies:





It's as the content of the left side of the startpanel is being copied/mirrored to that menu, and that menu only.
It happens only with that menu, and only with this skin.

hi all, i understand that image quality is lost by saving images in this format. i change my wallpaper through wb. i know it supports jpg and bmp. what other formats does wb wallpaper section support? And how does everyone else change their background?...thanks 

Hey all! 

I'm trying my hand at a WB, but have run into a problem.  I'm following SKOriginals "A Complete Guide to the Start Panel", which is fantastic, but I don't know how to create an alpha channel in GIMP.  I also can't get the .tga files I do create to open in SkinStudio. 

Any suggestions??

I have actually had this error for awhile but didn't ask about it since it didn't do this with all skins.  Now though I noticed it with the new release from Stardock called Stardust so I'm wondering if its something on my desktop doing it or if anyone knows what might fix it.

hi all, in a windowblind,on the start panel, the words "ALL PROGRAMS". when mouse over it turns black. what can be done to correct this? .....thank you

   Ok this is first time I have had this happen so I am looking for some help please.
The default image imported will show my new image wont!

I have tried a total of 20  images some were imorted from other WB's(that are working) only the default image will show!

Additionally I have carefully checked image addressing and it matched the ShellStyle.xps

I've noticed that whenever I apply a non-vista skin (Namely Xenomorph), the next time I restart my computer the DWM service doesn't start.  Not a big problem, all is fine once I start the service manually.  Running Vista Business with most current updates.

Have tried the apply/restart test with other skins (Vista/WB6 compatible) and the problem does not exist.

 

When I start windowblinds the screen resolution switches and is magnified. After which i have to go and switch it back to correct this. I then recieve an error message when i go and try to access anything and it closes the program?I'm running vista home edition 64 bit.Any help with this, anyone? Thanks!

hi all, i just noticed that when my documents or my pic window is open, there is no transparency when you click on favorites at the top tool bar. the rest of the windows are transparent when you click on file,edit,view and tools. i wonder why?...thanks

Hi everybody.
I'm have two screens, and i use the UltraMon wallpaper manager, that supports different wallpapers on each screen. Problem is, Windows Blinds 6 has a wallpaper manager too, wich does not support dual screen. Anyway i want to turn the WB manager off. How do i do that?

I just first want to say I have been a customer of Stardock for a very long time. I think Stardock is at the Vanguard when it comes to customization and program management. Thank you for your work! You give your customers a lot for their money!

I love the automatic wallpaper changing feature bult into Windowblinds. I have it set to change very hour on both of my linked machines. One is an XP Pro and the other a Vista machine. On my XP Pro the wallpapers change and they all stretch automatical...

I have been having trouble recently with a popup when I start windowblinds.

It states...

Windowblinds is unable to start.
The most likely reason for this is your PC has a .CMD file running at startup which has locked WBs activation file. 
Run msconfig & remove this from startup and then reboot.  WindowBlinds should then work fine.

OK... I tried that.  I tried to find a .CMD file and could not find a ".CMD" file anywhere.

Please help.

Trying to run Windowblinds 6....

I have submitted Maja Pearl.wba to the gallery 4 times in the span of a week.

Each time I see it in moderation on my skins page.

Each time, the following day I will check it and it is gone (not in moderation on my skins page and not in my gallery).

Each time, I check my email but there is no notification of it.

I submitted a logon and a wall after the 4th upload of wba and the logon was approved,
