I can't believe I didn't see this in the galleries until today. Greenreaper has created a logon pack for Windows Vista that makes use of the included wallpapers on your PC. Vista includes a bunch of beautiful wallpapers, and this pack lets you easily have them as logon screens now.
"Installation instructions: Extract .logonvista files to a directory or to your desktop, then drag and drop them on to the LogonStudio Vista window. Logons should appear at the bottom, under "Buil...

Hi guys
Here is one more interesting BUG in Windows Vista, which is related to "Statusbar":
1. Open "My Computer" and enable "Statusbar" by pressing <ALT> tab and select "View -> Statusbar".
2. Close "My Computer" window.
3. Again open "My Computer" but remember don't maximize or restore the window. Leave it as it is.
4. Double-click on any drive which contains at least one file in its root, e.g. If your D:\ drive contains any .txt or .jpg or .bmp or any other format ...

Does anyone have a tutorial for how to turn a widescreen wall into a logon for vista? Please use small words
It's about time !
I've been sitting on that one for quite some time. It's still not in a good enough state to be called a beta (or even alpha), hence the technical preview. It comes bundled with one logon (by yours truly ). The included logon is still a work in progress: stock buttons, no custom sound, no loading animation, etc.
What's missing/not working:
Logon editor (won't be in 1.0) No check for image format when applying a logon (images in the wrong format will break the...
I am very impressed with WB6. What skins have people found work well with Vista (and including those made for Vista)?
I don't know how to do a poll on this board, if it is even possible, but some feedback might do the trick.
We all love the Stardock products and how they allowed us to extend the graphic capabilities of Windows XP. Wouldn't it be a great product for Stardock to create a program that could read Dreamscene files and run them on versions of Vista other than Ultimate, or for that matter even have them run on Windows XP. Just a thought. What do you think?
For years LogonStudio has been the easiest and best way to change your default Windows XP logon screens. Windows Vista has been out for a while now and if you are like me, I have grown quite tired of the default logon. Well LogonStudio Vista is now available, and it makes the Vista logon screen just as easy to change.
You can use any of the logon screens that are included with LogonStudio Vista, or you can download one of many already available at the LogonStudio library on WinCus...
I came across this neat Virtual Desktop Manager for Vista today.Got a really simple interface with some nice subtle effects powered by the DWM.Also, the sourcecodes are available if you are interested.I'm currently running WindowBlinds and ObjectDock and none of them seem to conflict with the manager like some managers do.Check it out!
According to SDC, LogonStudio Vista is 1.0 now. But, it still can only change the background and still has the ugly green UI. It's not really 1.0 yet IMO.
