When I change my dock icons, I go to "Dock Entry Properties"..."Change Image"...the down to "Browse for an image...".
Is there a way to add to the "Folders" menu the folder that I store my icons in?
Anyone know how to make the tiles overlap the front of the icon? I'm working on some zoom tiles and, well, the concept is that the icons are supposed to look like they're sitting in their respective trays (it literally is a tray). I've tried a couple of guesses, to the coding, on my own and can't seem to find what it is.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
How do I install ".dockzip" into OD Plus?

If I create a tabbed taskbar in object dock and I have no windows open it causes Object dock to crash. I'm currently using

Hey all!
I have an idea to make traffic sign icons (like a "don't walk" hand for the Documents folder), but I want to animate them, slightly. What I want is for the icon image to change from one image to another when clicked on with a left click (the image would change from a red version to a green version).
Any suggestions/help on how to do this?
If this requires code beyond my knowledge (I'm only familiar with basic scripting), and you know what I need done, you're welcom...
Hi all, im wondering if you can help me with a small problem. I have created a second dock at the top of my screen. I have it tabbed also. Here's the problem, my 1st dock at the bottom of the screen allows me to alter the transparency but the top one does not. I want it to be exactly the same style as my bottom one. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this has given me much frustration in trying to solve this myself.
Before I purchased OD Plus and started using it exclusively to launch and monitor apps, I used a an application called "Visual Task Tips". When hovering over an open task in the system tray, you can see a mini screenshot of the app. The author says there is a limitation that you can't see minimized screens but I've used it to peek in on Emule (that was minimized.) I didn't realize just how much I used it until I hid the taskbar.
My question - Is there any way that I can get this a...
Hey everybody,
Poke your developer friends, I'm interested in hearing if anyone would be interested in writing docklets in .NET languages such as C#. Considering adding the ability to do so. Would allow for simple operation such as overloading the Paint method to do drawing, and performcing drawing via just drawing to the provided graphics object just like it were a regular window, etc etc etc. This as well as assistance in creating/drawing-to/animating alpha-blended windo...

so i'm looking this here clock over, and i'm a little curious. you see i've changed my clock face a few times but i don't think i've ever noticed any occasion where the same old hands didn't exist.
now getting back into the swing of things, i noticed the icons are now supported in 256, in which case i might as well get my stuff updated to that size. but when checking out the clock i was fiddling with it at 256, (who even uses their dock that big?) and i noticed some horrid looking artifac...
Hey all!
I'm working on a new dock background, but, in order to get the background the way I want it, I'm using blank shortcuts on both ends. There are different graphics on both ends of the background that I'd like to be shown. Is there anything in the text script that I can do to, say, write in that both ends of the dock be left with a certain amount of space before/after the icons?
Thanks for the help!
For any of you who'd like to try your hand at skinning ObjectDock, head over to the Wiki where you'll find some great tutorials. The most recent of which from me is Creating a Zoomer Dock Part 1: The Regular Zoomer. I hope that it helps some folks create their own docks and I look forward to seeing them here on Wincustomize.

Hi,
i am trying to install (by using sys stats, obviously) a ram and cpu meter. While the ram meter seems to work ( even if the values are different from the task manager's) I can' t make the cpu meter work. The value of the cpu usage is always set to -1.
Any suggestion?
Hi,
browsing the Win Customize site, I see that there are many Dock icons labelled as "animated", the png file contains all the frames of the animation sequence.
But how do i activate an animated icon on the dock???
Can someone answer me please?
