Using Vista, I've moved the taskbar to the right side of my widescreen monitor; making it easier to read the program title when many applications and files are open.  Then I created a dock with the Start Menu on it and put it at the bottom left (hiding offscreen until requested).  This all works great with the mouse, but when I hit the window key on the keyboard, the start menu pops up at the top right of the screen where the taskbar Start Menu button is.

I've seen several docklets that turn the iTunes icon into album art, but is this possible for other players. For example, I converted from iTunes to MediaMonkey and now I use the new Zune client, which is honestly one of the slickest pieces of software I've ever used. When I go to the tabs and styles settings and scroll through the styles alot of the styles aren't showing a preview image. I'm I extracting the files wrong?

It has now been brought to my attention that these new folders implemented in ObjectDock are causing problems with custom Plus/Minus images not showing up on docks. The docks I have created that have custom Plus/Minus images are coded to the "Programs/Stardock/Objectdock/backgrounds" folder for the Plus/Minus images to show up. This was an interesting article i found while scrubbing the net for a way to add a second dock to my desktop. OS X doesn't yet allow you to do that, and Object Dock + doesn't yet run on Macs

I recently wrote about the "Top 3 ways to use ObjectDock", which I showed some of my favorite setups for ObjectDock including a docket dock, drawers, and a minimal configuration.

I noticed this morning that a few people had questions on how exactly to configure ObjectDock into drawers, so I made a quick video showing how to do this.  It's quite simple, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
 

 

ObjectDock is pretty flexible, and there are more ways to use ObjectDock than just having it sit at the top or bottom of your screen.  One of the big advantages of having ObjectDock Plus is the ability to have multiple docks on your desktop along with the ability to have tabbed docks.  With OD+ you can also "mix" docks, and by that I mean you can have a tabbed dock and a "zoomer" dock on the same desktop which allows for even more flexible setups.

For some reason, I always seem to have two (2) Object Dock Plus icons in my system tray. Regardless of which one I close it shuts down Object Dock Plus. This has been the case when I was running XP and is still the case with Vista. Anyone else seeing this and maybe someone has an explanation?
