Here you have one motley crew - at the races Suturday just gone. I am still paying for it, but it was debauchery and shananigans all round. The races at Spring Carnival time in Melbourne is a fantastic experience, everyone gets dressed, and everyone looks great! My friend gave me this picture this morning, and the looks on our faces says it all - this wasn't to far into the day, but we were, how you say, festive by this time! Giddy-Up!

some nice images from Baghdad, the old city. Nothing political here, sorry folks. Just plain old ordinary pictures of life in Baghdad, one year later.
For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land (Ezekiel 36:24) Link on some really great photos...

Here are the disgusting photos of the disgusting crimes committed by the US forces in Iraq. The humiliation and degredation of Iraqi prisoners took place in the same prison that Hussein used to torture his many victims. This is a blow to the US war effort and if anyone is in their right mind they would demand their troops be returned home. What is going on in Iraq that makes these soldiers treat prisoners in much the same manner Hussein treated his prisoners. And on top of it all the US has ins...

Once again I find myself having to tell people that these images are the human cost of the senseless war in Iraq. They are of some children who died in their homes in Fallujah. Kids who never had the chance to even know what the hell is going on around them. Again, if you don't like these kinds of images, don't bother to look. If you like these kinds of images, then they will still make something inside of you say something's not right here. WIth nothing but bulls**t and politics filling the air...

This is an awesome account of what happened on the march to Baghdad. It's graphic, but really the reading is what fascinated me. Also here's a supplementary photo journey during the actualy fall of Baghdad. http://digitaljournalist.org/issue0304/afpf_index.html Think of how far downhill the situation has gone since those optimistic days. A year later it's death everywhere.

What a thing to have happen eh? I feel bad for Bush and Co. for having to pretend the kids pulling dead bodies around are Sadaam's remnants and Baath officials. But what else can they say? They've already said that slaughters like this prove the US war is succeeding in Iraq. That makes no sense but what makes sense in the Bush Admin?

Now this is one brave ?silly? woman. But I can see her reasons for such a journey. How many people have gone through an empty city that 99.99999% of the planet refuse to go to or even go near? The quiet isolation of a once thriving loud busy city would be too much for some to bear. Can you stand being in a place where everywhere you look you should be hearing the loud sounds of the city? When you stand on a street looking at roads, apartments, houses, businesses, farms, plantations, vehicles.......

No pics with any wheelchair though. Do not look at if you don't like gore. Do not look at if you have a weak stomach. Look if you like seeing what a missle can do to a human body. And keep in mind that this is the final scene for countless innocents each day. This is a deserved justice, kind of. I wish they would have kille...
