"The program, called Google Reader , aggregates news and updates from selected sites. It lets users subscribe to material from the sites and create a reading list that they can sort and organize. Users can post news items to their blogs or send them to friends via e-mail directly through the Reader site, Google said. "The amount of information on the Web is rapidly increasing," Google said on a frequently asked questions page about the product. "Google Reader helps you keep up wit...

Take a look... I am sure someone will have a DX widget doing this in a couple of weeks
I've been getting an error message for the past fifteen message whenever I try to visit Google. Has anyone else had this problem? It's just that it seems a bit strange for Google to not be working. Google Error Server Error The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request. Please try again in 30 seconds.
I was challenged to find something positive the UN has done on another forum site. SO I went to Google and typed in "UN Positive Deeds" and Google in its infinte wisdom first thing asked me "Did you mean: UNPositve Deeds." Try it yourself.. I claim finders rights though.. LOL

I saw the "Gmail is creepy" website over a year ago, before I even had gmail, but I just got a link to it again today and it has a new (to me) cartoon at the bottom that I just had to share: Effing hilarious.

Seeing as I have not been as current with this site(and keeping up my own blogging escapades to the standard that I once did), this may have been posted before, but I found a site called Montage-a-google which uses the image search function of Google to make a mosaic-like montage picture based on the search term you entered, and I thought it was worth sharing with everyone else. The move to let people upload video to Google's servers comes as the firm trials a video search service. Google Video provides transcripts of TV clips and links to downloadable content, ...
What is next I say? Limitless storage maybe? I mean with only 1 percent of users actually using 1 GB why not? Also, with sharing, social networking on the rise, RSS feeds and blogging, I think the next logical step is shared GMail accounts. You get a RSS feed from your account as it is, but what if you wanted to share your emails with people using the RSS feed? I mentioned this in a thread about DX3 that Frogboy started. I was thinking could DesktopX allow people to view ONLY the emails...

I have a problem... I use a filter to keep my kids from seeing things on the net that they shouldn't. However, I find my middle son sitting in front of the computer doing searches and STILL getting nude pictures. I mean.. Some of these are kinda trashy! Can anyone help me find a way to block out google? Or am I doomed to failure?
