A mood was to bound to hit me at some point in time that would require me to follow the flow of top ten lists at the end of the year, and although I had been lucky enough to avoid this trend for years, it has finally caught up with me. So, for the next twenty days, I will be writing about one game per day that will fall into the follow lists: Top Ten Games of 2005 and the Ten Most Appetizing Games of 2006 -- the title of the latter very much being a work-in-progress . The games will came at y...

Hey All, I've seen this implemented on several sites for wrestling games and other. I just wanted to see how well it would work out in our community. What I'd like is if everyone could post their Character Creation forumlas here. This way others with Soul Calibur 3 in the community or outside of the community (I think) will have access and some ideas to fill in those blank No Data slots. I won't be able to post any myself until I get off of work. But, I will. I have some pretty ...

Hey, Well I got Soul Calibur 3 on October 26th, 2005. A momentous occassion really. The game is just as savvy as the others in the series and then some. I'd describe the game though as un-related to the others in the series. Yeah, the story is the same and a lot of familiar faces (with every previous character being in the game, besides console specific (from SC2) and Necrid.) But, I'd consider the game geared for a "new generation" of fighting games. The way they took ideas as see...

Yanked from Gamespot.com TOKYO--2005 will be an unforgettable year for Sony Computer Entertainment and its PlayStation gaming console. The PlayStation tallied its 100 millionth sale in June, and it marked its 10th anniversary in North America this month. And now it's received one of America's most popular awards. Sony Computer Entertainment announced today that the PlayStation has won an Emmy for "Outstanding Achievement in Technology and Advanced New Media for pioneering the 3D polygo...

So, finally the Jak and Daxter series have finished with Jak 3. What do you guys think of the end? Who liked the change from Jak and Keira trying to get together at the end to Jak and Ashelin actually getting together? Link *Kuro Kin'youbi*

I am going to have to find an online photo album to store all these pics. I don't want to fill my blog with just car pics from Gran Turismo 4, and it would be convenient for friends to be able to go to one link and view all the pics. I've completed the Sunday Cup races. Here are a couple of highlights from the events. Going head to head. A different track... This is what I got for completing the Sunday Cup - Autobianchi A112 Alarth '79. With the credits ...

More photos from Gran Turismo 4, using the in-game 'photo travel' function. I just got my A licence. Bronzed it, so I was rewarded with the Pontiac Sunfire. (But I am determine to get silver times for these test someday, and then maybe reach for gold - one step at a time.) So, I took my new ride to a few locales for a photo shoot. The quality of the in-game shots are so good that I wondered if I should have posted this in the photo section. This almost is like using a real camera, bec...

These pics are taken from the licence test replays. The replay is paused, and then you can select up to 64 camera angles, zoom in/out, focus, etc and save the pic to a USB storage device. Nissan Skyline GT-R spec II '94 at the fantasy course "Trial Mountain" (Licence test A-13) Lancia DELTA HF Integrate Evoluzion at "The Grand Canyon" (Licence test A-11) The crowds in this game are a lively lot. They would actually step back when they see you coming. ...

I had spent a chunk of my weekend playing Gran Turismo 4 ( Link ). Managed to get my B-licence and am now working on getting my A-licence - these are in-game licences to race (you might think of them as tutorials). Messed around in a few of the races and found out how much I sucked at driving. (I don't drive in real life so the public is safe.) This game just blows my mind. The graphics and the sound is just incredible. And I would shut off the background music just to listen to car engin...

Restarting sucks but I guess I'm gonna have to with this game. It's a real mental ache because I have put over 35 hours into this game. (It's a 80-100 hours kind of a game.) I made one stupid mistake of not playing around more with inventing better equipment for my characters. Now I'm stuck because I can't get past this boss character, Robin Wind. I am seriously lacking in good equipment. I guess I could backtrack but that in itself is a pain in the neck. In addition to have to fight...

So, first of all, I got hooked on the Final Fantasy series from the moment I started playing FFVII. This game is by far the best of all the FF series. There's no doubt about that. The gameplay is excellent. The battle strategy is insightful and full of action and suspense; in between trying to defeat bosses, you'd have to plan ahead to get the better of them..and it sure is tough! But everything in this game is well laid out and so well thought of that it's difficult to trace any flaws. ...

I've been playing FFX international for quite some time now. No doubt it's the best of the Final Fantasy series produced by Squaresoft apart from FFVII. The storyline is out of this world but it's something you can relate to. Tidus is an upcoming blitzball star who plays for the Zanarkand Abes when he is suddenly swept to another world which is completely different from his own but still maintain some cultures which are shockingly similar. He's lost and confused and the only person he knows ...
