One of the most controversial items of the AGW Alarmists arsenal of weapons is the often disputed, and refuted hockey stick graph of Michael Mann.  Mann is not a climatologist per se, but his word is gospel to those who would like the world to believe in Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW).  Interestingly enough, while his PHD is not in climate science or math, he at least did get BS in the later.  And Statistics are a branch of math, or they use to be until perverted. But his h...

Okay, so we gave BP’s TopKill a chance and it is most plausible that the apprehensions I previously mentioned ( see “I Hope Not…But BP’s TopKill Could Be A Disaster”) played out as I feared.  Rising critical pressure levels were  detected  which caused an 18 hour pause  in mud pumping and a subsequent failure in the jumpshot (where we would’ve had all those golf balls )that  caused the whole plan to be aborted. Plan B would now inv...
Ok, without getting into the real underlying reasons for this disaster, basically the offloading of externalities on the general public in the form of unsecured risk by corporations, let's just take a quick look at the possibilities and problems. Methane hydrate crystals, I believe they're called.  Zillions of tons of them on the sea floor, enough to power the entire world for probably 50 years with minimal pollution.  That's what is causing the real problem for BP.  Any attemp...
written and posted by the U.S. Coast Guard Information Office. NEW ORLEANS – The response to BP/Transocean's Deepwater Horizon incident continues as responders have scheduled a controlled, on-location burn to begin at approximately 11 a.m. CDT today—a strategy designed to minimize environmental risks by removing large quantities of oil in the Gulf of Mexico following the April 20 explosion. Part of a coordinated response, combining tactics deployed above water, below water, do...

The IPCC was (is) supposed to be some shining beacon on the hill.  Some altruistic organization that is going to lead us troglodytes out of darkness and into the light of a new world order.  And their bible is the AR4 (soon to be AR5) report on Anthroprogenic Global Warming.  A document so reviewed, researched and double checked that there could not possibly be a problem with it.  But then the cracks started.  Of course we saw the Glacier gate, then Amazon gate, and t...

The Global warming won't stop accumulating... someone alert Al Gore.

The house of cards that is AGW is suffering another setback.  Already the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has airbrushed the infamous Mann Hokcey Stick from its latest report.  Today, the IPCC announced they are going to do the same with the statement that "Himalayan Glaciers may disappear by 2035".  And this time the error is a lot worse. While the Mann Hockey Stick at least had some backing by people in the field (later shown to be bad science), the claim on the ...

Well, well, well. One of my favourite columnists, Lawrence Solomon wrote a very interesting column yesterday. This is sure to turn a few heads. The gist of the article is that man-made global warming was occurring due to the hole in the ozone layer. When the key industrial nations of the world banned CFCs, the layer repaired itself, and global warming stopped. From the linked article:   "Climate change is real and man-made, explains University of Waterloo professor Qin-Bin Lu, auth...

Weather is so bad

We believe in one God the Global Climate Change, Destroyer of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible. A proponent of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) told me the other day that “97% of Climate Scientists know AGW is a FACT!” (his words exactly).  I called him a liar.  And I never touched Google (or Bing). What has gotten lost in the latest development of AGW, the East Anglia emails and source code, and indeed it has been lost for many years, i...

Today I had quite the experience. I was walking along the beach and I saw a massive amount of coral that was just strewn about. It was quite an amazing and hurtful sight. I could hardly believe that there was so much life there at one time and that it was now no more than a collection of neat looking stones. Some of the coral even had some of its color left. I was distraught when I saw all of this and it really made me realize just how much damage mankind has been doing to the whole of nature. I...

The reason is simple; Darwin’s theory on evolution is the linchpin for all the things that people wish to use in order to make a better world. Margaret Sanger figured it out years ago. Survival of the fittest meant getting rid of the not so fit. Planned Parenthood was the subtle logical step in that direction. When that did not work as well as planned we came up with ZPG or zero population growth. That is having a disastrous effect in Europe because they bought into it and being sophistica...

Okay now that you are reading here is how I got there. According to people that believe in the religion of evolution; over the course of billions of years animals evolved from single cell organisms to the animals we have today. The problem with this belief is that we have this thing called volcanism and plate tectonics. Every few hundred million years the surface of the earth is replaced. New York one hundred million years ago was on the equator, the planet suffered an ice age that lasted a few ...
