I was sorting through my email this morning and opened up something from Yahoo, maybe my first mistake, but anyways. it's Called Yahoo 360. it's a place where you can share your blogs and pictures. It also has a system where only your "Friends" can see your posts and i assume respond to them. Sounds interesting... I wonder if anyone else has thought of this........ OHHHH That's right, Stardock has about over a year ago!!!! I looked at it and laughed. Just thought i'd share it...

This isn't exaclty about a movie... its about a online archiving tool of all your media and book listings. From what you have to what you wish you had. The site is still in development, but what makes it different from other simular sites is that it is run by tags, and it has large social networking abilities. The interface is nice too. A far cry from other sites like this (even the one I am developing LOL) Users get their own sub url of which makes it even easier to share your collec...

Hello again! Welcome back to the show (podcasts to come in the future - watch the show on There coming Spring 2006). A few things for you today. First up is Digg.com Digg.com I have a website dedicated to all things Digg and what happens on there (and it can get pretty exciting on there... almost entertaining in fact... take a look at this post on Mac Fanboys) Every so often, I select a few diggs that I want to highlight for what ever reason... boredom, excitmen...

In my last article, Rewriting DeviantArt history Link I talked about how Scott Jarkoff, the main founder of the art site, DeviantArt, was unceremoniously terminated. After my article, somebody else posted a link to a leaked email http://probingthetruth.blogspot.com/2005/08/subject-truth-about-deviantart.html that gives rise to some serious questions as to the motivation of why Jarkoff was fired. Scott was asking some tough questions and even though he's a stock holder, he didn't seem to be...
I've been a member of the Stardock Community since November of 2002. I'm nowhere near being one of the early members, and in fact I came to Stardock by a route much different from most. I'm not a windows customization junkie. In fact, at the time my only experiences with WindowBlinds has been under Win98 on a woefully underpowered machine and the themes I was able to find weren't all that great to look at, so I was pretty much turned off by the whole customization deal for quite a while. ...
This October will be the 12th year that I've run a C-class corporation.  That means stockholders and what not.  As a result, I have long been familiar with the rights and priviledges of stock holders, even minority ones. In 12 years of business, I don't think anyone could find a single disgruntled business partner.  That is, in 12 years, no one we've worked with has ever expressed any dissatisfaction with how they were treated. So even though we're "evil capitalists" I think we...
Jark is my friend.  He's been my friend for a long time.  I'm unhappy about the situation with deviantART.  Jark (Scott Jarkoff) and his friend Matteo (Matt Stephens) founded deviantART back in 2000.  The site was started with the help of Angelo Sotira (Spyed) as well but I don't think it's accurate to say Spyed is a co-founder of deviantART any more than it is accurate to give the CEO of say Ziff-Davis the co-founding credit of every magazine they publish. devi...

OpenID looks interesting. It's a method of identification without explicit registration (except on your home site - one you choose to trust, rather than one you have to trust). It's in the process of being rolled out on LiveJournal and other sites that use its software. I suspect it could come into use elsewhere, if it's simple enough to setup. I wonder, will I someday sign myself GreenReaper of WinCustomize.com? PS: My article about WinCustomize search plugins is more useful t...
I was wondering today as I stared at my Trillian Software window, where did I lose control? Looking at it I realized I have a IM account on AIM, IRC, AOL, MSN, IRC and Yahoo. OMG why? Now I have program that lets me run all of them in one interface. Thank goodness. Then why do I have the five accounts? I tried one then the other and found that they all worked in different ways. I liked some things about one and not some on others. Then I found my friends all used different IM’s and so I ha...
This class finished a little more recently than my GOVT class. Keep in mind that this is also undergrad, but that it's History *ONE* (US History through Reconstruction) as opposed to Government *TWO*. I don't know whether that means it's easier, or that not all the morons are weeded out yet. Let's look at the scores, maybe that will help. Open book tests: Possible points in each: 50 My scores: 45/48/50 Class averages: 36.58/36.29/37.46 Proctored, computer final exam: Possible point...
I haven't really been completely satisfied in the online classes I've taken through eArmyU. After finishing up my Government II class, I have come to realize why. I know that some of these grades are skewed for people not doing anything in class, and not dropping it in time, but I know this teacher to be very lenient about how much extra time might be given, and how well she communicates with the students if they have the possibility of dropping it. Midterm: Possible points: 250 My s...

Not usually the place for this, but I wanted to try something out. I am hoping to create more of a interaction on the messageboard if we have messageboard games. Its an idea I thought of before and thought to give it a try again. What say you the message board? For whatever reason, I can't get past the third level....

Arguing on the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics; even if you win, you're still fucking retarded. I was reading another thread and drmiler said something along the lines of, "you win with *superior* firepower" (which I partially agree with, but it takes more than just the biggest guns and the dumbest asses to fire them). Moderateman responded by saying something to the effect of "or having a bigger CYBERmouth". To that I say this: Congratu-fucking-lations. You win. You be...
