Ben Rothlisberger lost his 4th game out of 5 yesterday. This time, he managed to make the Oakland Raiders, considered by some as the worst team in the league, look good. Ben threw another 4 interceptions and just looked bad out there. What is wrong with him? Is it the motorcycle accident? Watching him play, he seems to be reacting a bit slower than in the past. It could be a lingering or permanent effect of the accident. Or it could be a lack of confidence. Is it the fact that he h...

FORZA ITALIA! We're in Florence right now, about to go pick up some pizzas and go to some friends to see the big game. If Italy wins, this town is going to explode!

Its was great performance from Portugese goal keeper & pathetic performance by english penalty scorers. One thing for sure England can play penalty shoot outs. How many games English lost due to penalty shoot outs. Even if Becham & Rooney could have made no impact. English team is too horrible in penalty shoot outs, but they had no other option when Rooney was red carded. Rooney deserved Red carded, but Ronaldo doesnt have any sportive spirit clearly letting his friend down, the way he...

As tipped our first prediction came right, Germany played marvelous soccer to come back from 1-0 down to equalize at 80th minute and win in the penalty shoot out by 4-2. Ballack who hardly could walk in the extra time motivated himself to play the game at shoot out Germany to victory. Its Germany Germany all the way. I not much impressed between Italy and Ukraine, but cant wait for Brazil-france & English-Portugal match. Any how for the moment to all German fans 3 Cheers. to ca...

Germany - Argentina Clash will be the match to watch in the FIFA world cup 06', Its unfortunate that such a clash is taking place very early in the tournament & not some where in the semi-final or final. Argentina so far has given the best display of football but Germany looks more strong as a team and with home advantage behind them it might well be Germany progressing to the semi-final from the 1st quarter final, but not gonna be easy Germany has got their task cut-out as Argent...
Unfortunately they weren't able to beat Ghana. I didn't see the game. But I got the report on the Web from the link below. They mentioned that a lot of American fans were there to support them. I think that's great! Too bad they couldn't celebrate by advancing to the quarterfinals. The penalty shot by Ghana was their undoing it seemed. Ah well...better luck next time around guys. Link
You might not be a Soccer fan, if you’re amongst the few who aren’t; you have to admit there’s something about the sport that is exciting. I’ve not had the chance to watch all of the games, but I’ve seen a few of them. Even if you don’t follow any of the games, just to watch one is exciting. Watching those men play with such artistic skill is beautiful. [My little one and I even ended up playing soccer in the living room (it was raining outside and she was bored – nothing broken!L...

As someone that has enjoyed motorcycle riding in the past, I know it's a very enjoyable thing to do, but it's not something that a star athlete should be doing, most especially since almost all professional sports contracts deem motorcycle riding a dangerous sport and leave those athletes staring at the possibility that their contract can be voided. Either way, Pittsburgh Steelers star QB Ben Roethlisberger got into a wreck today, apparently suffering head injuries, but remaining alert and...
There probably is a lot of blogs on this already [I didn't check yet] but I'm so excited about this. I've always loved football ever since I could walk and knew that I loved it! I'm talking Soccer as it's called by my fellow Americans. As a girl growing up on the Island of Jamaica, football is up there as a national past time, with Cricket being our number one sport. My brothers were pretty much into sports with my older brother being captain of his football team and also played Rugby a...

Yep, he finally got traded to the Dolphins. This is going to really drive my sisters father nuts. (Loves the 'fins, can't stand Harrington) I'm glad, I think he was just a scapegoat for the Lions' troubles. The whole organization is screwed...and with Millen around...it is not going to get better, IMHO. I think he is going to redeem himself. I think that he will become major QB. Maybe not "legend", but respected. What do y'all think? ~LSource: Link

EUGENE – Olga Ngata, the mother of former University of Oregon defensive tackle Haloti Ngata, passed away Friday night in a Phoenix, Ariz., hospital while undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment. The 44-year-old Ngata was undergoing a dialysis session at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital when she apparently encountered a cardiac arrest. An autopsy was to be performed Monday to determine a precise cause of death. Haloti Ngata stated during a telephone conference call several weeks ago ...
