They've been sitting there for yonks....many are copied records of very 'ex' members of Wincustomize....removed after somewhat 'extreme' anglo-saxon expletives....   But this one recalled a time 12 years ago...and it'll be here somewhere [12 years later] ....just a little tale of woes from back then.... It all started a few weeks ago. My 5 year old washing machine had an identity crisis.  It wanted hence-forth to br known as an 'inert white obje...

Next year [it's 11 hours from now for me] Mine is to get on the Deadly Treadlie more....starting Day One. I lost count of how many times I cycled in '13 ....probably because I can't even remember the last time...it was so long ago. Ain't good enough.....not when you're pushing 60....   So....what's your resolutions? ...

Michael Schumacher is currently in Hospital in a coma after a skiing accident. 22 years of F1 didn't get him....hopefully this won't either. I've 'known' him since he started in F1....even provided supporting evidence which ensured he won his first Championship [in Adelaide]...in my role as Race 'Observer'. Some people could never warm to him...but like Seb....he's 'just' German.....they're a bit that way - serious/driven. Can't deny hi...
What do you do if your troll husband gets banned from a forum for being an obnoxious dick? Well, most people might ask their husbands what has gotten into them. Why would they put so much effort to alienate people that they would get kicked out of a forum that they’ve spent years on? But if you’re Angie Gallant and you run a site dedicated to smearing other people, you respond by putting up a fake review of the book written by the person who was the target of your husband&rsquo...

Normally I'm not a big fan of the Holiday season and go around muttering Bah Humbug .  Between Thanksgiving, Christmas, my Birthday (Dec 26th) and New Years it just reminds me of all the time that I spent away from family and friends because of the life paths I choose to take. This time though I will be able to find some good things to remember. I've finally been around long enough to become a member of the Double Dippers Club .  Now for those of you who don...

We shop all year long. We’re addicted to it (some more than others)…men hate it, women love it (let the generalization slide, it’s true). I read an interview with Kim Yarrow, Ph.D. in Medscape about this, and found it interesting. “I just finished a new book on that subject, Decoding the New Consumer Mind , so a short summary might be hard! I suppose if I were to narrow it down to the one most important thing, I would say that buyin...
It's Thanksgiving! And I have a lot to be thankful for.  In no particular order, here are some things that I am very very thankful for.   #1 My Wife and kids. My wife and I have been together over 20 years. I love her so much. We met in college during an..incident in EE lab (you do not want me to work on anything that actually involves electricity).  Since then, we've had 3 wonderful children.  I am very thankful for them in ways that I think many can ap...

Myasthenia Gravis   Does anyone have first hand experience/knowledge with this condition? If so, please chime in here, or PM me. I just want to know if it's as bad as Google links say it is.   My Mom in law has it, (pending further testing) and her future looks pretty dim.   Any info you have would be appreciated.   Thanks.

Listen to this, it’s worth it A good friend of mine sent me a link to this episode of “The Moth”: http://themoth.org/posts/stories/anonymous It’s about a popular teacher who nearly saw his career ruined by hateful, anonymous rivals who took snippets from his blog to paint a horrible, completely inaccurate picture of him.  It illustrates the disproportionate power of cowardly, anonymous people have to inflict harm on others. The power of malice I can relate to this ...

We’re thrilled to share Stardock’s first foray into tabletop games today: a physical version of Dead Man’s Draw. Take the fun offline with up to four players with this high-quality printing of the gorgeous Dead Man’s Draw deck. Because Stardock is a digital entertainment company and not a tabletop publisher, we’ve taken to Kickstarter to make the physical version of Dead Man’s Draw happen. We honestly don’t know if enough people are interested for this...

I hate to have to do this, but things are getting down to the wire soon and I need some help. Right now I run two web sites, my own and vStyler's as a favor to a good friend. We both sell WB skins through PayPal on our sites and the automated purchasing software we use is called DigiVendor by iDevSpot. I have emailed them many times over the past 45 days about this, but no one responds, which is pretty lame since I purchased the software. PayPal recently sent out emails stating that they ...

Third year in a row, and that's a first for anyone. And between Oz and Canada we have 7 of the top ten.... There's something to be said for living in the 'best' place and just visiting cities like NY and London... [it'd help though if they weren't so bloody far away]....
