So, last Monday, along with all of you who are also customers, I received a truly annoying (pathetic?) mass email from Reed Hastings, CEO of Netflix. Mr. Hastings called it an "explanation," but I'm still waiting for an apology for this message that had the word "apology" tucked into the bottom, snugly wrapped in an overall tone of arrogance. My concern is not really about the price hikes. They vexed me because I hadn't been interested in streaming and was suddenly told it was part of...
How many here have played Trackmania? I'd be suprised to see how many here play, since they've got around 9,000,000 registered players (dont know how many actually consistently play though )The developer Nadeo, is about to release a new game in the series, simply called Trackmania 2. Personally, I'm pretty excited to see what 2 has to offer.
I bought Company of Heroes recently when it was on sale because of all the good reviews. The campaign provides good narrative and decent mission structure, but man, playing skirmishes, I'm starting to think I wasted my money. The pace is WAY too fast, and playing as the Americans, the German army has some really unfair advantages (they have better, well, everything). The whole concept seems off to me. Instead of constructing buildings that produce resources, you have go around the map and se...
http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/gamestop-under-fire-removing-free-coupons-deus-ex-234821510.html   Apparently they don't like OnLive, even though every copy comes with the coupon. According to the article they want to "protect their digital distribution system". You mean, the one you bought from Stardock at less than it was worth, and never going to fully use. One, this is a horrible thing for Gamestop to do, and two: Stardock, why did you sell Impulse to Gamestop? It...

College Cooking by Megan and Jill Carle Do you remember that girl you knew in high school, the overachieving, pretentious, goodie two shoes who played Ann of Green Gables in the school play? The one whom the drama teacher gave his phone number to in the event she had any questions about the role? The good news is her plans to become that doctor fizzed and now she’s turned to drugs and is in a crappy band.  The bad news is before her descent into worthlessness she wro...

So, I see the Elder Scrolls IV Game of the Year Edition (has both expansions and all the DLC) for $25 bucks, and I heard there are a lot of essential mods for this game. What are they?
Ever since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was released at $60 dollars, all the big publishers have started pricing games at 60 dollars, Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, Starcraft 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Bulletstorm, its a really become a negative trend now. While PS3 and Xbox 360 games have always been $60, $10 of that went into Sony or Microsoft's pocket. There's no reason for PC other than to price gouge. All I see is greed, and with these publishers you get little to no patch support, DLC ...

I'm just curious to hear where everyone else is at with this is. I'm fortunate enough to live in an area where I have access to Wide Open West and Insight as dueling cable providers.  I was paying about 130 a month with wow for 2 cable cards, phone, and their 2nd highest level internet (along with showtime/stars).  I called insight and they quoted me a low price of like 109.  I thought, hey, great deal, I'm in.  But by the time she finished telling me about ...
This has been all over the news. It had so much hope that Libya's government would be overthrown and that psychotic clown of a dictator Qaddafi would finally be thrown out. Now it seems like the rebels are going to fail. They've been pleading for Western Intervention but Obama is basically fiddling while Libya burns. If Benghazi, the rebel capital falls, Qaddafi will be free to butcher every single person who opposes him. Why do we always wait until its too late?

OK guys - I'm going to provide you with simple 1 liner (something you prob won't find on Google) and I want you to tell me where its from (if you want to play, of course).  I'll provide more clues. Clue 1 - black kimono with something that looks like flames. Clue 2 - "There are tales that are told many times..  One tale is only ever told once." Clue 3 - also crappy and difficult:  "Well, I'll be back in my realm then." Clue 4 - written in the late 80's through early 90's....

I can see that my Skinner Spotlight might be easier to do from here. It seems to be set up differently. I dunno. I'm gonna look into it. Suggestions welcome.

Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!  Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom ...I mean, Chatroom I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol). So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit. For now though, post away, and ev...

All you have to do is look around at our fair nation, the facts are everywhere. Violent crime is up, regular crime is up, murder is up, school shootings are up, godlessness and divorce is up. There is a cancer eating away at America, and as any geologist will tell you, the only way to kill a snake is to chop it off at the head. Corruption isn’t just a special ability in Starcraft 2. Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat is a fictional movie based on a series of books b...
