So the Cartoon Network has finished its animated Star Wars series of 5 minute shorts on The Clone Wars . I have to admit, it was really really good. The writing was very strong, the stories interesting, the animation effective, and the action oustanding. It was Samurai Jack in the Star Wars universe basically. If anything, it makes the battles in the movies look lame. The advantage of animation is that you can do a lot more cool things on the cheap. The force powers shown by Obi Wan and Ana...
Oh,too bad camile got booted out tonight!!! Dang! I hope she still gets a record deal. There's a whole lotta potential in camile that camile-bashers hate to recognize. I agree that Camile's style has no match to the belt-it-out types of singing of the other contestants, but she has a very unique vocal talent, that seems like a breath of fresh air from the music of the commonly heard power belters we hear on the radio. I still send Camile moi hugs and *clap*clap*clap* for all her ...
Last night at 3am, the green cloak of technical difficulties left my world and I discovered that "The Green Channel" is back on the air. I was flipping through the channels after I got home from work when I found myself looking at an episode of Camp Cariboo. When I was a kid, it was always just ending when I got home from school for lunch, and frankly I couldn't stand the show. I had watched it as a tot, but had developed a hatred for the half-assed production values. Now, however, I...
Well, after a solid 24 hours of absolutely no sleep, I watched all by two episodes of Smallville - Season 2. I waited until my friends caught up to me after the first 21 episodes in the season though, so that we could all watch the finale together. And, having just finished watching the Season 2 finale, I must say: do *not* watch the season finale until you have the first episode of Season 3 lined up to watch in direct succession. My friends are making me wait until tomorrow to watch the firs...
I’ve appealed to every Kids in the Hall fan I know, so maybe somebody out there in the internet world can help me with my query. After visiting Tink in Guelph, and watching an In Living Color sketch where Jim (or James) Carrey parodied Vanilla Ice, I decided to download some sketches of my own. Tink watches a lot of SNL, but when I grew up, I watched Kids in the Hall and In Living Color, which brings us to my latest downloading infatuation. During my Communication Breakdown, I also began to do...
Alright, as usual, I'm a bit late on reviewing the series but, hey, at least it's getting reviewed! So, anyway, I just finished watching the entire first season of Smallville (21 episodes, an hour long each, except for the first, which is 2 hours long... and I watched every one in a single weekend), which details the life of Clark Kent (otherwise known as Superman ) as a teenager trying to come to understand when and how to use his "super powers," while also trying to fit into the "nor...
Must See TV Thursday night on NBC fails again...... Friends: Re-run SUPRISE SUPRISE! Of course they mask it with a veiwers favorite episode.... Give me a break, true fans would rather see a new episode than the same one again...... Will and Grace- I actually until last week did not know they were still making new episodes. The attempts at comedy between Will, Grace and Jack fall short of funny. Luckily Karen and Minnie Driver have great chemistry and make it bearable to watch. Although...
