So, for the fans of the Family Guy out there, how did you like the new season? Do you think that the new environment at the FCC is going ot have a detrimental effect on the show? Personally, I rather enjoyed the first episode(especially the opening), but it did seem to be a little uneven as well... hopefully it will seem less so as the weeks go by. And given that Fox is looking more for DVD sales from the series than raw ratings(being up against Desperate Housewifes at the moment, ...
The Office is NBC's second attempt -- and second failure -- in as many seasons to translate a popular British sitcom into a successful American franchise. While ostensibly being a documentarian's look at a dysfunctional regional office for a paper- and office-supply company, its main focus is the even more dysfunctional boss Michael Scott, played by Steve Carell. It's as if someone took Dilbert, stripped all the laughs out of it, then gave the pointy haired boss his own spin-off series...

So, for the first few episodes of this season I was writing a weekly rundown on the television show Alias. But alas, that just hasn't happened for a while now. In fact, we are still a couple of episodes behind (thanks to VCRs and torrents we have been able to acquire the missed episodes). And so, once we finally get caught up, which should happen this weekend I hope, I will try to get back on track. Some brief thoughts though: -I was initially disappointed with the lack of a centra...
Did anybody see that show on Adult Swim last night? I forgot the name... chicken something... I almost cried laughing. I have some screenshots of the show. I'll post them later.

Yes folks, I am a full week late with this Alias rundown. Last Wednesday was my brother's last night with us, so we were up late watching movies and playing Unreal Tournament. I even forgot to record Alias. Thanks to torrents, my wife and I were able to watch it (without any commercials!) on our DVD player Tuesday night. Technology rules. Nocturne was a bit of a darker episode. I enjoyed it quite a bit actually. The episode starts with a women teaching and English class. Suddenly ...

Holy Cow-- I just watched the biggest train wreck of a remodeling show episode. Here's the description of the episode of Clean House: Clean House Niecy Nash and her team of experts reconcile this battling mother and her college-age daughter by dragging out the ugly excess, re-doing the living room, & the daughter's bedroom. (TV-PG) And here's what ACTUALLY happened (I couldn't believe what I was seeing!)... Ok, so the show starts off with the daughter looking like kind ...

I am surprised I have to write this entry, but I just had to say it. As a fan of Family Guy, I was heartily disappointed by the premiere of American Dad. To me, it just didn't feel right... the timing and pace of the show had a lot to be desired. I know that Seth MacFarlane had given me high expectations, and I was prepared for a show that at first wouldn't dazzle me in comparison, but I was not expecting to feel so let down. Even when compared with the second show of another famous creato...

SPOILER ALERT!!! The following will discuss plot points from this last week's episode of Alias. If you don't want to read, the leave. To be honest, this weeks Alias (that again I had to watch later) did really do anything for me. It was okay, but I thought it was one of the weaker episodes. A confused man walks through a bazaar, repeating loudly "My bird is missing". After repeating this a couple of times Weiss walks up to him, looking irritated as only Weiss can do, and says "It'...

SPOILER ALERT!! Episode plot points will be discussed in the following article. If you don't want to know, read no further. Some ups, some downs. But on the whole I enjoyed this week's episode. For the first time in a while I actually laughed out loud at some of the scenes. It was a welcome break to the pall of doom that hung over most of the episodes last season. Syd and Marshall enter a bank in the Bahamas, passing Vaughn arguing with a bad accent (was he French, British, con...

Yes, I am that hard up for things to write. So I am just writing this to simply say that I haven't had a chance to watch Alias from last night. We had some training for our Therapeutic Foster parent program and I had to record it. I hope to watch it tonight, but only time will tell. Man, I am pathetic.
I'm thinking of signing up for netflix. i'm trying to see if I can think of enough movies that I wouldn't see on the new releases to make it worth it. I know there are a lot of movies that I have been meaning to see, but now I can't think of the movies I wanted to watch....so what movies would you recommend that I rent?

*SPOILER ALERT* I will be mentioning plot points from last night's episode of Alias. If you don't wish to know, do not ready any further! A door opens. Sydney struts out, platinum blond hair, white nightie, high heels. I turned to my wife and simply said "Oh, you know she is going to kick someone's butt." And she did. In the first few minutes she seduces, steals, slams, kicks, hits, flips and hangs from a speeding train over a huge chasm. Yep, sounds like an average day for ...

We never did see Adrianna, Christopher Moltisantis' beautiful fiance' actually on the ground shot/dead. Is it possible with the Joey show going to the dumper that Drea DeMatteo could be back on The Sopranos Season 6 return?? I think a great possible storyline would be that Sil thought he did the job, but in some wonderous miracle Adrianna did survive and was found by a hunter or park ranger and taken to safety. Does she return and do a job on her former fam by testifying and taking the whole ...
We fade in on Gob in the kitchen of the model home as he tops off a single slice of pizza he bought himself with the rest of the ingredients he'd saved for this pizza......magic mushrooms, but before Gob can munch it down Michael enters the kitchen and begins another lecture fest on Gob and his forever freeloading from Michael. To make his point he picks up the pizza and shoves it in his mouth at the end of his speech. Gob, caught offguard by the act and not wanting to admit that he was about...
