I enjoyed this movie. Good plot and aplied to my inner geek because I knew alot of the computer termonology. Some good twists and turns. My favorite part about it though was the message that Knowledge should belong to the world. It made me think that if we as hummanity just tried to work togeather instead of always competing we could accomplish so much more.
I have watched this movie over and over it is great. Bill Murry stuck in his own personal time warp. "Every day is exactly the same and ther is nothing he can do about it." He gets so depressed that tries killing himself over and over. It goes through the many phases of wonder, realization, acceptancepain, boredom, depression, and finally onto fulfilment. Great show!

First, the disclaimer: I have never been a huge fan of the Predator series. The first was decent, but the second on was lame. Danny Glover should stick to comedy and Lethal Weapon. As for the Alien series, loved it. That is why this review might be hard to write. Upon going into the theater with my friends and the local EBgames posse, I had some tripedation. Ten years ago, a videogame came out for the SNES called Alien Vs. Predator, apparently a pre-cursor to the up-coming movie. Like ...

Ok, been hearing rumors about another Alien movie for like 2 years. Rumor was that it was to be an Alien V. Little else was heard. But then, about a month ago I see an advert for AVP. "Wowa, no way!" I said to myself. That toke me by surprise, and I still wonder if a fifth Alien movie is in the works. I'm also wondering when Hollywood will come up with an original idea, based on something that has already been done. Well this flick wasn't bad over all. The question to me was, is it...

In every class, there is that one guy. The one you sit next to, and wonder, "What the hell is going on in your head?" For me, it was a kooky Romanian in my Latin class. I loved that guy! There are so many phrases that I hold dear to my heart. "Jew-eese!" "The password is.....nipple." "Let's see you translate in turbulence!" My reasoning for taking so much of your time was that this kooky Latineer, was the weird guy to me. This is a stretch, because normally, that title belonged to yours tr...
Last week Sandra Bullock celebrated her 40th birthday. (Do you really "celebrate" turning 40?I mean, there are still fingernail marks in the floor from my beingdragged into 30. -- Yeah, I know, I have to get in front of the wavewith my blogs; I'm always playing catch-up.) Here are my thoughts onthe best, worst, and most watchable Sandra Bullock movies. Sandra Bullock's Best Movie         Okay, nopussy-f...

Yesterday we rented the movie "50 First Dates".  It stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.  http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/50firstdates/ I wasn't sure about this movie, because I either like or really hate Adam Sandler movies.  Luckily, this was one that I liked. I don't know if it was the mood that I was in in or what, but my husband and I laughed at *so* many parts of this movie.  The main premise is that Drew's character (Lucy) was in an accident and loses her ...

Movie Advice Tip: Just because your friend thought it was a good movie doesn't necessarily mean that the movie is actually good. Movie Reviewed: Lost in Translation Rating: R Viewing Time: 1hr 42 min So, this weekend I went to Blockbuster and bought myself two DVDs for $20, which is nice enough for my income. Most of the movies are ones that people didn't like, or movies that really didn't get enough attention from customers. So, when I picked up School of Rock and Lost in Transla...
Hubby and I just got back from a midnight showing of Anchorman starring Will Ferral. I am a huge fan of his, he was one of the best SNL characters EVER!!! Most of the movies he is in I don't expect to come out with a profound new look on life, just looking for a few laughs. This movie offered that, It had a few laughs and a 5 minute sequence that had me and the rest of the audience in stiches. But some of the parts were stupid and overdone, but generally enjoyable, I give this movie...

( Note: Minor Spoilers included ) Considering the uproar over Fahrenheit 9/11 I went to the film expecting to see something between a very flawed film with no redemptive social value and the second coming of Cecil B. DeMille (the film did win the jury prize at Cannes). However, the film is neither what the neocons want you to avoid or what the Democrats want you to see. It is a great film for what it is, though, unless you do see it, you will miss the whole point of what Mr. Moore is ...
Spiderman is now in movies and yes, it rocks. If you hated the first one you will still hate this one. But for everyone else, you definitely don’t want to miss what I think is probably the best super hero movie of all time. Though, X-Men 2 was pretty good too. What really struck me about this movie was how much of it is really about Peter Parker. This movie is much less “cheesy” than the first one. It’s much more about how ordinary people are having to deal with extraordinary events. Pet...

Another tale of flesh-eating zombies. I think I outgrew these years ago, but this flick is the fun stuff that slumber parties are driven by. We waited for this one to go to the "Dollar Show," and even then, saw it because there was nothing else playing. I was pleasantly surprised. What a fun movie. If you can't get to the theater to catch it, pick it up from your rental store when available. Make sure the kiddies of something else to do that night (wink). Nice blend of humor, suspens...

An empty Friday night and a bit of curiousity landed this little flick in my hands a couple weeks back. "Party Monster" is the true story of 80's club kid, Michael Alig, who apparently rose to fame in his circle of New York clubs for his outrageous behavior and wild parties, eventually getting so heavy into drugs and himself that he murdered one member of his circle. The movie is based on the book "Disco Bloodbath" by James St. James, another club kid and close friend of Michael Alig. ...

Rent this movie. Simply excellent. Well written, well acted, great story. Has anyone in the world besides me seen this?
Dear anyone who read the two articles I wrote late last night, I apologise for anything I may have said to embarress myself and have sworn I will not visit Joeuser after 8pm. Here I will attempt to re-review Angels in America - hopefully a little less insanely (I will be leaving the afore mentioned articles as a reminder to me that I'm nuts) *** What a powerful movie, I wish I could have seen the theatre production. I've spent the better part of this morning trying to find a script...
